1 mukhi rudraksha

image  The one face rudraksha is considered to be the most powerful and auspicious in rudraksha family. It embodies highest divine power for the destruction of ignorance and for the rise of divinity. It is associated with the Sun and is believed to enlightens the super consciousness state during meditation. One face rudraksha symbolises the lord Shiva himself. Wearer of one faced rudraksha is blessed with both materialistic and spiritual gains.

A round one faced rudraksha bead is very difficult to find. However a one faced rudraksha in the shape of a cashew nut (also known as a half Moon shaped rudraksha) is usually available and is found to have the same effects as a round one faced rudraksha.

2 mukhi rudraksha

image  The two faced Rudraksha is considered as a symbol of Ardhanareeshwar (the joint image of Shiva and Shakthi) by Shaivates and as the symbol of lord Vishnu by the Vaishnavaites. The Goddess Lakshmi (the Goddess of Wealth) also showers her blessings on the wearer.

Two faced Rudraksha bead is associated with the planet Moon and is therefore used to remove the malefic effects of moon. It keeps the mind in balance, helps the wearer concentrate his mind and increase spiritual power. It is expensive.

It affects heart. 3 mukhi rudraksha

image  The three faced rudraksha bead is the symbol of the Trinity (Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesha). It also symbolises Lord Agni. All the merits obtained by worshipping Agni Davta are obtained by wearing a rosary of three faced Rudraksha.

Three faced Rudraksha bead is associated with the planet Mars and is therefore used to remove the malefic effects of mars.

It affects throat and celiac plexus.It is very effective for jaundice. The diseases like Schizophrenia, blood infection, ulcer, cholera, Depression, swelling, weakness, negative and guilty feelings, inferiority complexes blood pressure, disturbed menstrual cycle, mood swings, acute fever, disorder of sexual glands, disorder of adrenal glands, mental disability, plague, small pox, cold, digestive problems, spontaneous abortion, ulcer etc. are known to be cured by wearing this Rudraksha.

4 mukhi rudraksha

image  The four faced rudraksha bead is blessed by God Brahma. It also bestow the wearer with four essentials of life i.e. Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha.

Four faced Rudraksha bead is associated with the planet Mercury and is therefore used to remove the malefic effects of Mercury. It is most commonly used and is easily available.

It affects adrenal glands and heart. It acts as cure for throat and nose, sexual problems, gall bladder,cough, asthma, brain related illness, stammering, mental illness, paralysis, memory lapse, respiratory tract problems, nervous disorders, diseases concerned with hands, arms, lungs and thyroid glands, yellow fever and nasal disease.

It also governs logical and structural thinking. It helps in increasing mental power, intelligence, knowledge and concentration. It can also increase sexual power and attractiveness.

If this Rudraksh is boiled in milk and that milk is taken for 20 days. It gives knowledge and clarity of mind, it is said by wearing it, the ill evil thoughts arising in one’s mind are destroyed. This Rudraksh is especially important for the students and scholars. All types of learning become easier to the wearer of this Rudraksh. Such a person gains deep insight and perceives the secrets of religion easily.

5 mukhi rudraksha

image  The five faced Rudraksha is blessed by Lord Shiva himself in the form of Kalagni Rudra. It affects all major chakras in bioplasmic body. It is said to control the five elements in the human body (fire, water, air, sky and Earth).

Five faced Rudraksha bead is associated with the planet Jupiter and is therefore used to remove the malefic effects of Jupiter. It is most common Rudraksha and is available in abundance.

It affects all Major chakras. It is used for treating liver, fistula, piles, stress, blood pressure, mental disability, acidity, diabetics, stomach disorders, obesity, constipation, digestive problems, inflammability, cardiac problems, tooth-ache, heart problems, anger management, breast ailments, thighs, neurotic, vertebral column and mal adjustment problems etc. Dipping 3 beads of 5 faced beads in water after sunset and drinking the water early morning on empty stomach is very effective in controlling blood pressure. It is very effective in controlling sudden nervousness as well. One should hold a big five mukhi rudraksha bead on the right palm for a few minutes to find the confidence lifting up miraculously and body warming up. It is known to regulate blood pressure.

Five mukhi Rudraksha destroys the five sins i.e. lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego. This bead wipes off all sorts of sins that accrue from sexual intercourse with a forbidden woman and from eating forbidden food. As Agni (fire) purifies the metals and similarly this Rudraksha rectifies all the vices and misdeeds of Jeeva and makes him pure and Jeeva gains the form of Pashupati i.e. the Lord of all creatures after becoming free from the animal instincts.
